Promoting active lifestyles. Jump Rope is a great way to stay fit and have fun. These programs will introduce youth to the various techniques of jump rope – single rope, long rope and double dutch – following the CanSkip Badge program and aligning with LTAD for both Individual and Team skills.
Connectivity Skippers are a registered jump rope club with both RSC (Rope Skipping Canada) and RSA (Rope Skipping Alberta Association) at both the Recreational and Competitive levels.
The Connectivity Skipping program runs September to June and concludes with a group performance in the Together We Dance Year End Showcase at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts in Leduc.
Our Competitive Team participates in 1 competition Locally, 3 competitions Provincially and 1 competition Nationally. Parent involvement is required at the competitive level.

SKIPPING PROGRAM INFORMATION
- ALL SKIPPING PROGRAM classes are designed on a combination of age and experience. If instructors feel that a skipper is either surpassing peers in areas of technique or are not yet able to achieve the required skills, the instructor may recommend the skipper try a more suitable class or increased training hours.
- Advancement to “Competitive” within the program is possible after the first year. If wanting to compete, skippers must notify their coach so proper skills assessments may be completed
