Dance Fees

A one-time Member Fee of $35 will be applied to each registering student.

All full year class tuition includes all class and administration fees for the season from September to June.

Pro-rated tuition is available for participants entering the program in April or May. All class programming runs to June 2021.

Member Registration, Tuition, Costumes Deposits, Competition and Exam entry fees are all non-refundable upon registration.

Performance and Studio Event

At this time we are following Government and Municipal mandates and guidelines for event participation for both indoor and outdoor events.

All full year performance classes will be included in performances or events that are able to safely be arranged this season.

 Acro Tech classes are non-performance and do not typically perform in our year-end showcase or studio events.

Costuming will be determined as events are confirmed. Balances on costumes will be added once the final costume orders or rentals have been calculated.

Competitions

At this time we are following Government and Municipal mandates and guidelines for event participation within the Edmonton Region.

Syllabus Exams

Ballet, Tap and Acro students with exam potential may be invited to participate in Syllabus Exams. Exam fees are additional fees ranging from $50 – $180 depending on the exam level and genre.

COVID-19

All CDL programming will continue to be offered through virtual formats during all mandated closures. Fees are based on operational expenses for the studio as a whole and will not be reduced due to online learning methods.

Participants who are not able to attend Live in Studio classes due to isolation or quarantine will have access to remote lessons while at home.

Jump Rope Tuition

A one-time annual Member Fee of $35 will be applied to each registered athlete.
All Jump Rope classes include all class tuition and administration fees for the season as well as membership dues for Rope Skipping Canada and Rope Skipping Alberta.
RSC Sanctioned competition and event entry fees are not included in the tuition fees.    All entry fees will be added to accounts 1 month prior to event and are due before
the event start.

Please note Rope Skipping Alberta will not be hosting any qualifying events or competitions this season. The RSA Annual Summit has been re-scheduled to Fall of 2021 in Blackfalds.

Programs and participants may qualify for Jumpstart, Creative Culture Connections and Kid Sport Funding.

Fundraising
Fundraising at Connectivity Dance is an optional program provided to parents to help off-set dance fees ~ tuition, dance wear, workshops, intensives, competitions, events and the

Any Fundraising Credits will be applied directly to your Personal Dance Account and must be used by September 30, 2021.
Fundraising Credits are issued on a profit share basis to accounts to help support Studio
Scholarships and events. Credits are determined on a percentage of the fundraiser PROFIT, not the fundraiser SALES.
Credit allotment is specific to each fundraiser provided by the studio and will be listed within the fundraiser package. Fundraising credits cannot be paid out as cash.
If a student is withdrawn, credits will be applied to any remaining fees; and remaining credits forfeited upon withdrawal or discontinuation of membership.
Refunds and exchanges on damaged or missing fundraising items will only be considered on fundraising items within 24 hours of receipt of items, or as per the terms of the refund policy of the specific Fundraiser. Fundraising orders must be confirmed with volunteers prior to leaving the building and are the responsibility of the participant from that point. Any orders NOT confirmed upon pick-up, may not be eligible to be replaced.

Payment Policy
A $35 non-refundable Member Registration fee and a $75 non-refundable per class deposit is required upon registration. As of  September 30, 2020: all fees for the 2020/21 season are considered final and due. ALL tuition and costume fees are non-refundable after this date.

Refunds on Full or Half Year Registration (less the Member Registration Fee and Class Deposit) may be considered prior to the start of the season, if cancellation notice is received in writing by September 1, 2020.Refunds are not offered on weekly sessions, workshops, intensives, drop-ins or special promotions. Potential Refunds on unused tuition will be approved within the first 3 weeks of the dance season.
Tuition fees are based on a set number of classes and programming expenses from September to June and do not correspond to the number of weeks in any one month.  For your convenience, tuition fees for full season registration may be divided into 6, 8 or 10 monthly instalments. No refunds or rescheduled classes will be offered for student absences.  Student absence is not an indication of class withdraw. The studio reserves the right to cancel classes due to instructor illness or emergency and inclement weather.  In such a case, efforts will be made to reschedule classes cancelled by the studio when possible.
Please ensure payments are arranged with administration by September 15th, 2020.  Monthly instalment payments are due by 1st of the month. All account payments are to be received to the Administration desk.  Instructors are not responsible to accept member payments. Unless otherwise arranged with the Owner, accounts for the 2020/21 season must be paid in full by May 1st, 2020.  A Late Penalty of 10% per month on the balance owing at May 20, 2020 will apply to past due accounts until the account is paid.
Outstanding accounts are subject to suspension of classes, performances, festivals, competitions, exams or events, until the outstanding amount is paid in full or arrangements have been honoured.
